    Tactical pondering

Post by Guest on Tue Jun 01, 2010 2:43 pm

I seem to have ended up with a squad of fatties, certainly in comparison to a number of my league opponents this season anyway. I've always had a squad of quick attacking backs, and played accordingly, but this looks like the first season where I will be 'pack-heavy', and would appreciate some tactical suggestions for the coming season.

Pick n Go could well be a good option if they also have good strength?

yeah, but if you are looking to play alot of PnG then tryu and get some attack & agility on your forwards, if yolu havent already, i tend to see this is very underrated by many managers who just plonk the odd strength/tech net on their biggies.
130kg hurdling towards you is horrible. then imagine he has a sidestep as well Wink

    Congrats indeed!
That sounds about right to me in terms of advice. The pack has a nice mix of speed, strength and technique, so pick n go might well be given a run out in the next few weeks.
